DC Film Society's 13th Annual Party
to watch the Oscars... LIVE ON THE BIG SCREEN!

Doors open at 7:15 pm; tickets on sale at the door at 6:30 pm.

Party with the DC Film Society on February 27 and watch the 2005 Oscars broadcast live ON THE BIG SCREEN, hosted by local film critics Joe Barber and Bill Henry. Lots of door prizes/posters, trivia questions, Predict the Winners contest, loaded auction, free Entertainment Weekly Oscars issue!

We'll watch the ceremonies hosted for the first time by comedian/actor Chris Rock - plus "AND THE WINNER IS…" attendees get to enjoy the casual comfort of an Art-Deco theatre with affordable food and drink ( CASH ONLY ), fabulous film door prizes and trivia contests, a “Predict the Winners” contest and the best Silent Auction ever!

Silent Auction items (cash/check only) include dinner and hotel gift certificates, autographed movie posters ( see list below ), and movie and theatre tickets. Special items: a Hotel Rwanda screening invitation signed by Oscar nominees Don Cheadle and Sophie Okonedo, Les Choristes Oscar-nominated song sheet music signed by Oscar nominee writer/director/composer Christophe Barratier, and Beyond the Sea
soundtrack signed by dir/writer/producer/star (and Oscar winner) Kevin Spacey.
